VoIP Handsets of Choice: Yealink Desk Phones
While having a phone system without handsets is now an option with softphones, most companies still prefer having desk phones and conference room hardware for ease.
Our team of engineers have been using and installing a number of brands of VoIP handsets for years, and have developed a list of personal favourites. Here we’ll talk about our favourite options from Yealink, one of our preferred suppliers (along with Snom). Yealink has proven time and again to be easy to set up, reliable to use, and full of features.
Yealink desk phones are fully supported by our cloud PBX software, 3CX, meaning that our PBX has been designed from the start to integrate with these handsets, making them simple to activate and service.
Lots of Features
Yealink has a range of desk phones to fit any hardware budget, all of which have a professional and ergonomic design. We find the visual interface to be easy to use, with higher-end handsets including an intuitive, full-colour screen for easy navigation.
All Yealink desk phones have HD quality audio, support for wireless headsets, and remote provisioning for easy activation and servicing.
Remote provisioning saves time & cost
Auto-provisioning means that with just the MAC address of the handset, our team is able to provision and service desk phones remotely – manual provisioning on-site is no longer required. As a result, the PBX setup is cheaper and faster. Our team can deliver handsets and provision each phone to its correct extension in keeping with your company’s PBX design.
